Itinerary

4 Nights – Rio
2 Nights – Iguazú Falls
3 Nights – Manaus/Amazon
2 Nights – Salvador City
5 Nights – Salvador Beach Resort

✈ UK – Rio (4 Nights): You’ll fly to the Brazilian capital of Rio de Janeiro, where you’ll have 4 nights to really soak up this iconic city’s atmosphere. Christ The Redeemer gazes over an urban paradise with open arms here, and Corcovado or Sugarloaf mountain views are breathtaking. Whether you’re bouncing rays on the Copacabana or Ipanema beaches, sampling steakhouses or exploring Centro’s cloistered history, you’ll feel this mega city’s pulse at every turn. From jet-set sands and sky bars to unique museums and offbeat favelas, Rio most definitely lives up to its “Marvellous City” nickname.

✈ Rio – Iguazú Falls (2 Nights): For a refreshing burst of natural beauty that’s taller (and wider) than Niagara, you’ll now fly direct to the world-famous Iguazú Falls. Get up close to 275 crashing waterfalls here, where fresh spray and mist blend into a dense rainforest backdrop. Boat and safari trips are available either side of the Brazilian and Argentinian border, as well as the unmissable Devil’s Throat. Spot rare bird species, traverse the falls under lush canopies and really soak up this stretch of extraordinary beauty.

✈ Iguazú Falls – Manaus/Amazon (3 Nights): It’s hard to believe that Brazil’s cityscapes come with the drastic contrast of the Amazon rainforest. You’ll now fly from Rio to the gateway city of Manaus. You can stay here and make trips out, or you can opt for tropical seclusion, like the Amazon Eco Lodge. Our happiest travellers have booked once-in-a-lifetime jungle explorations, where hidden creeks, waterways and flood plains stretch for hundreds of miles amid stillness and greenery. Swim under waterfall pools, fish for Piranhas and walk or hike endless bridged canopies.

✈ Manaus – Salvador City (2 Nights): Salvador is Bahia state’s beating heart. You’ll reach this spiritual gem by direct flight, where you’ll have 2 nights to experience every vaulted convent, cobbled alley and live capoeira show. Clustered neighbourhoods here stagger beautiful beaches like Brazil’s largest All Saints bay, and every pastel facade and indigenous local tells a story. Stroll the Cruzeiro de São to the gold-coated São Francisco cathedral, cool off in Lisboa-tiled courtyards and sample the best fish and coconut stews in Brazil.

🚗 Salvador City – Salvador Beach Resort (5 Nights): It isn’t a real holiday without a solid beach break. With some of the best-rated beaches in the world, the 1000 km stretch of Bahia sands are home to multiple beach resorts- there’s one for everyone here. Whether you want lush tranquility in Trancoso, the unspoiled Cocoa Coast or the northern Barra Grande stretches, we’ll find you the perfect shores (and the perfect hotel). You can also choose to skip Salvador City and extend your Salvador Beach Resort stay to 7 nights.

✈ Salvador – UK: All good things must come to an end, so on your final day we’ll transfer you back to Salvador Airport, for your flight back home to the UK.
