Why choose a San Francisco & Hawaii multi centre holiday?
If you’re struggling to settle on a destination for your holiday or you simply just want to explore more of the world, a multi centre trip is ideal. Our multi centre holidays in San Francisco and Hawaii mean you can visit two stunning locations in one, combining the very best that both city breaks and beach holidays have to offer.
In San Francisco, you can spend your days exploring, eating, drinking, and taking in all the culture and history the area has to offer. Once you’ve explored to your heart’s content, you then head over to Maui, Hawaii, where you’ll spend 11 nights relaxing, sunbathing, and enjoying the stunning natural beauty surrounding you. Things to Do
What are the best beaches in Maui?
Maui is home to some of the most stunning natural beaches in the world – it is Hawaii, after all! We’re confident you can find beautiful beaches around every corner, and the ‘best’ options come down to what you want from your experience.
Kaanapali Beach is one of the most popular – and best-known – beaches on Maui. It’s located on the west side of the island and at three miles long, boasts plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing.
If you’re wanting to explore the ocean, Kapalua Bay Beach has calm waters that make it ideal for snorkelling. Napili Bay is another small, protected beach with excellent opportunities for swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding. If surfing is more your thing, head to Ho’okipa Beach Park, which is known for its powerful waves.
Of course, you may simply want to curl up with a book and relax on a deck chair – and with these beautiful surroundings, who can blame you? For a true touch of paradise, make your way to Hamoa Beach. Located on the east side of the island, near Hana, this picturesque beach features a backdrop of lush greenery and palm trees. With its silky sand, glittering ocean and colourful surroundings, this beach is a must for anyone wanting to sit back, relax and take in the gorgeous views of Hawaii.
Where are the best places to eat in San Francisco?
If you’re a bit of a foodie, San Francisco is a must-stop location for a multi city break. The city is known worldwide for its diverse and vibrant gastronomical scene. Around every corner, you’ll find a vast array of dishes and cuisines to test your tastebuds, from rich seafood stews to mouth-watering desserts.
One thing San Francisco is famous for is its Mission-style burritos, which stand out due to their sheer size. Packed full of rice, beans, cheese, salsa, guac and meat or veggies, these burritos are a must-try – and will keep you feeling full for hours. For a traditional option, you can choose a Cioppino seafood stew which is packed full of delicious Dungeness crab, shrimp, clams and mussels. Team your stew with sourdough bread – San Francisco is famous for its chewy and tangy sourdough, which you can find in bakeries and restaurants across the city.
If you fancy a sweet treat, head over to the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. Founded in the city in 1852, Ghirardelli offers mouth-watering gourmet chocolates and gifts, conveniently located near Aquatic Park; a beautiful park and beach with boating facilities. Or, for a true San Fran staple, opt for an iconic It’s-It ice cream sandwich. Created in the city in 1928, they feature vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two oatmeal cookies and covered in chocolate – the perfect dessert to enjoy while exploring and taking in the sights.
Does Maui have hiking?
While Maui is the perfect location for a relaxing, beachside holiday, there is also plenty of stunning natural scenery and countryside to explore. If you’re looking to hike, the Haleakala National Park offers an array of hiking trails. A highlight is the Pipiwai Trail, which takes you through stunning surroundings, including a bamboo forest and waterfall. The Waihe’e Ridge Trail offers luscious scenery for hiking, while the Seven Sacred Pools Trail, or the Kuloa Point Trail, features mesmerising ocean views and picturesque waterfalls.

We have used eShores previously and so this was an easy choice to use them for our holiday to India. We provided basic idea as to what we wanted to do and let Michelle do all the rest. Whilst a few changes have been undertaken during the booking process we now believe we have a fantastic itinerary and really looking forward to the holiday.

First time dealing with eshores and very impressed so far, spke to Michelle on the phone who arranged a bespoke package for us to visit Krakow and Warsaw, all airport transfers, upgraded hotels in the city centers with plenty of options, better flight times to fit in with our needs. Their web site seems pretty easy to navigate for payments etc. and nice option box to ask any questions which are promptly answered. Early days in the process but looking good so far.

I booked a 3 centre european holiday for my family with Hannah from eShores recently. Everything was dealt with very professionally and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble. Hannah went out of her way to get the holiday we wanted. We made a few changes to the suggested itinerary to get everything just right. A very smooth and pleasant experience, taking all the stress out of trying to plan a 3 centre holiday. I would highly recommend Hannah and eShores.
