Description

Location: Jumby Bay is set on a small 300-acre island, 2 miles from Antigua’s mainland. It is approximately 15 minutes by road and then boat transfer from the airport in Antigua.

Facilities: The hotel boasts two stunning pools (one lap pool and one infinity pool) and an open-air spa where you can choose from a range of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments whilst enjoying the stunning sea views. For children there is a fantastic kids club for ages 3-12, which organises a myriad of activities to keep the little ones entertained. For active types, the hotel provides complimentary non-motorised water-sports and there is a choice of two beaches, Jumby Bay Beach and Pasture Beach where you will always find a beach attendant on hand to offer you a cooling drink. For those looking to keep up with their fitness regime, the hotel’s gym has all the latest equipment plus a personal training program should you need a bit of motivation and direction (charged locally). There is also croquet, tennis, a putting green and free use of the resort’s bikes for you to explore the island.

Bars and Restaurants: The hotel offers an all-inclusive package from which you can choose to dine at any of their restaurants. The Estate House specialises in gourmet Italian cuisine and is set in an ivy-clad colonial plantation house surrounded by palm trees and hibiscus with a stunning sea view terrace. At The Verandah, guests can enjoy seafood, pizza and pasta in a beachside al fresco setting with far reaching panoramas of the Caribbean. For poolside snacks and drinks, try The Pool Grille and for cocktails and sorbets, The Beach bar is the place to go. The hotel will also organise private beach barbecues, romantic beach dinners and private picnics on the beach to make your holiday as special as possible.

Accommodation: Jumby Bay offers a choice of 40 rooms and suites, all with air conditioning, complimentary Internet, TV and a nespresso machine. The Rondavel rooms are octagonal-shaped cottages which are elegantly furnished with four-poster beds with Italian linens and a private courtyard and outdoor shower.
