The Stone Forest is 400 sq meters of stone, which has over time has formed into amazing ‘forest like’ structures. Because of how unique the forest is, it has long been known as the first wonder of the world. Take one of the labyrinths through the forest and see if you can spot one of the eerie lifelike statues dotted throughout.
For those who love to search out natural beauty, head over to Hoantong Mountain, a popular urban park filled with cherry blossoms and ancient temples. Make a day of it and visit the zoo on the mountain, home to the likes of tigers, elephants and pandas.
In addition to the scenic spots, Kunming is also known for its food. The multi-cultural way of living has an effect on the food and here you can find a variety of different cuisines. Also take a trip to the night market and sample some of the local delights.

Very professional and pleasant right from the first phone call. 'Chris' was patient with my requests and happy to make changes. He sorted out a whole itinery in a couple of days and e mailed it to me. Only slight down side was that the actual price, though reasonable, bore no resembalnce to the one quoted on the web site. I am not sure how I could have done the holiday for the orignal price; it was advertised too cheaply.
