Description

Location: The East Winds Inn is set amongst 12 acres of lush tropical gardens bordered by the golden beachfront on one of the most pristine bays in St. Lucia.

Facilities: Relax on the warm, golden sand beach with the luxurious thatch roofed Sun Beach Huts ensuring both privacy and protection. Cool off in the lovely free-form pool, one of the best kept fresh water basins on the island; then enjoy a cocktail at the swim-up bar. Enjoy afternoon tea poolside in the elegant Jasmine Room, or enjoy a guided nature walk around the resorts beautiful gardens. Out on the water, a small reef is home to a variety of local fish which you can explore whilst snorkelling or diving under the supervision of the Eastern Caribbean Divers School. If you want to stay dry, one of the hotels canoes or kayaks give you the chance to tour the serene waters of the bay.

Bars and Restaurants: When it comes to dining, the Flamboyant Room provides cuisine of the highest standard. Under the expert and innovative guide of their recognized French and local chefs, the hotel has won several accolades and medals in local and regional culinary competitions and serves a delicious range of Caribbean and International dishes as well as daily vegetarian options, and all meals are carefully complimented by an enticing choice of hand selected wines. For a more intimate dining experience, enjoy private dining surrounded by tropical plant life in a Palm Beach Gazebo, incredibly romantic for couples and a great social gathering place for lunch and dinner during the evening barbecues. When it comes to evening entertainment The Flamboyant Room and Bamboo Lounge set the stage for nights full of relaxation and revelry. Listen to the soothing sounds of strolling calypso minstrels, live piano and soft jazz as the notes float in on the light ocean breeze.

Accommodation: East Winds Inn consists of only 30 rooms, 26 of which are in 13 individual duplex cottages, plus 3 ocean view rooms and a suite, all of which are set amongst the gardens. Each room is informal, yet elegant and private; all are spacious, but still romantically cosy and are all tastefully decorated offering the finest in comfort and amenities. All the standard amenities are below, which includes a private and shaded terrace or patio. Some rooms feature air-conditioning, but not all.
