3 Night – Cairo
7 Nights – Nile Cruise


✈ UK – Cairo (3 nights): We will fly you from your chosen UK airport to Cairo, where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. You will then have 3 nights to explore this bustling city. We will also arrange for you to have one of our private guides to drive you around Cairo’s sights and they will be at your disposal for the day. Attractions not to be missed include the famous pyramids of Giza, the breath-taking Sphinx and the Cairo Museum. We also recommend just soaking up the atmosphere by wandering the streets and enjoying the great food on offer.

✈ Cairo – Luxor (7 Nights): On your last day in Cairo, we will drive back to the airport where you will take a short flight to Luxor, the starting point for your Nile Cruise adventure, floating along Egypt’s legendary river onboard a luxury vessel, stopping off some of Egypt’s finest historic sites along the way.

â›´ Nile Cruise (Sample Itinerary – exact details depends on ship): On the first morning of your Cruise, you will visit the Luxor Museum, home to many magnificent remains from the Pharaonic period, including pieces from the tomb of Tutankhamun’s tomb. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Temple of Karnak, the largest ancient religious site in the world, and the well preserved Temple of Luxor on the East Bank. You will then overnight in Luxor for the second night.

On the second morning you will visit the awe-inspiring highlights of the West Bank. These include the Valley of the Kings, burial place of ancient Kings and Nobles and one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites; the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon you’ll sail via Esna Lock to Edfu where you will overnight.

On the third morning you’ll visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, built of golden sandstone blocks and one of Egypt’s best preserved temples. Continue along the majestic Nile to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the fascinating Temple of Sobek and Haroeris in the afternoon, before continuing on to Aswan where you will overnight.

After breakfast on the fourth morning you’ll spend the day exploring the sights of Aswan. Start with a visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae, painstakingly relocated after the building of the Dam to the island of Agilkia. In the afternoon, take a relaxing trip on a felucca past the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island. You’ll then overnight again in Aswan.

You will spend your 5th morning at leisure in Aswan, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. There is also the option of a trip to breath-taking Abu Simbel (at additional cost). In the afternoon you’ll sail from Aswan to Edfu where you’ll overnight.

On the 6th morning you will sail from Edfu to the modern city of Esna. Visit the Temple of Khnum at Esna before crossing the lock and continuing on to Luxor in the afternoon. You’ll then overnight in Luxor for your final night of the cruise.

✈ Luxor – UK: On the final day of your holiday , we will transfer you after breakfast back to Luxor airport for your flight home to the UK.
