✈️ UK to Santiago (3 nights): You’ll start your adventure in Santiago, Chile’s vibrant capital, nestled against the backdrop of the majestic Andes mountains. Some of the city’s must-sees include historic Plaza de Armas, home to the striking Catedral Metropolitana, and the iconic La Moneda Palace, where the changing of the guard ceremony is a must-see. In the artsy Bellavista district, known for its street murals and eclectic dining, make sure you visit La Chascona, the former home of poet Pablo Neruda. For breath-taking city views, take the funicular up San Cristóbal and Santa Lucía hills, or visit the Costanera Centre, South America’s tallest building, with its spectacular observation deck.

🚗 Santiago to Valparaíso (2 nights): After exploring Santiago, you’ll take a short scenic drive to the coastal city of Valparaíso, a vibrant contrast to Santiago’s urban energy. As you travel through the picturesque Central Valley, known for its world-class vineyards, we recommend that you stop for a day of wine tastings and tours, which we can arrange. Once in Valparaíso, you’ll fall in love with the sight of the colourful houses clinging to steep hillsides, the winding streets, and the lively street art. Explore the historic port area, ride the funiculars, and immerse yourself in the city’s bohemian atmosphere for your 2-night stay here.

✈️ Santiago to Mendoza: We’ll next return you back to Santiago for a flight from Santiago to Mendoza, where you’ll be treated to some more stunning views of the Andes. For a more adventurous option, we can also arrange a scenic bus journey across the mountains instead of a flight. Although it takes much longer, you’ll be rewarded with truly spectacular scenery along the way.  Once in Mendoza, we recommend that you split your stay between Mendoza city and one of its renowned vineyards. For your first 2 nights in the city, explore its vibrant streets, fabulous restaurants, and cultural highlights such as Independence Plaza and General San Martín Park. For the next 3 nights, retreat to a vineyard to relax, enjoy the region’s famous Malbec, and join the numerous vineyard tours, wine pairings, and even a cooking class.

✈️ Mendoza to Buenos Aires: The final leg of your journey will take you to Buenos Aires, a city bursting with culture, energy, and Latin passion – and most notably known as the birthplace of tango. For some of the best live tango bars in Buenos Aires, head to San Telmo where you’ll find authentic performances in intimate, traditional settings. After your time in Mendoza, where you’ll have deepened your knowledge of wines, you’ll be well-prepared to select the perfect wine to accompany some of Buenos Aires’ world-renowned cuisine, especially its famous beef. Other sightseeing highlights include the iconic landmarks of Casa Rosada, Teatro Colón, Recoleta Cemetery and Palacio Barolo.

✈️  Buenos Aires to UK: You’ll fly back to the UK, carrying with you unforgettable memories and a deeper knowledge of South American wines!
