✈️ UK to Buenos Aires (3 nights):  Your adventure begins in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s dynamic capital and the cultural heartbeat of the country, renowned as the birthplace of tango. During your three-night stay, you can explore the city’s iconic landmarks, including the historic Recoleta Cemetery, the colourful streets of La Boca, the majestic Teatro Colón, and the iconic Obelisk. For the best place to experience the authentic tango culture, visit San Telmo, where you’ll find numerous tango bars and witness captivating performances that embody the city’s passion and soul.

✈️ Buenos Aires to El Calafate (2 nights):  You’ll be transported from the bustling city to the serene wilderness of southern Argentina as you take a flight to El Calafate, located in the heart of Patagonia.  El Calafate is the gateway to the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most famous glaciers in the world. There are several ways to explore the glacier.  You can take a boat tour that brings you close to the glacier’s ice walls, or you may choose to take a guided walking tour such as ‘Mini Trekking’ or ‘Big Ice’ which allows you to walk on the glacier itself and across the extensive network of catwalks and viewing platforms.

✈️ El Calafate to Bariloche (3 nights):  You’ll board a short flight to Bariloche, soaring north over the vast Patagonian plains and into the stunning Andes. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a scene straight out of a fairy tale, with pretty alpine architecture set against a backdrop of majestic mountains and sparkling lake views.  The highlight of this region is Nahuel Huapi National Park, where you’ll forests, crystal-clear lakes, and mountains with plenty of outdoor pursuits on offer including walking, water sports and wildlife watching.  Don’t miss the chance to indulge in the town’s renowned artisanal chocolate – a delicious highlight of any visit!

✈️ Bariloche to Mendoza (4 nights):  After soaking up the mountain air in Bariloche, you’ll carry on your journey further north to Mendoza, Argentina’s renowned wine country, famed for its Malbec production.  We recommend that you split your stay here between the city and the vineyards. Spend the first couple of nights in the city exploring its lively plazas, bustling markets, and gourmet restaurants. Then, retreat to a vineyard for a few nights of relaxation amid lush vines and stunning views of the Andes. For an extra touch of adventure, consider extending your stay at a nearby ranch, where you can try your hand at some ranch activities and embark on guided horseback tours through picturesque vineyards, rolling hills, and the foothills of the Andes.

✈️ Mendoza to Salta / Jujuy (2 nights): Next you will take a flight to Salta, where the landscapes shift from vineyards to dramatic deserts and mountains.  Salta itself is a beautiful colonial city, with a beautiful historic centre, including the stunning Salta Cathedral, and local markets. If you have time, it’s also worth considering extending this stop to explore the surrounding region, including the Quebrada de Humahuaca in Jujuy, with its strikingly colourful hills including the iconic Seven Colours Hill (Serranía de Siete Colores), and its traditional Andean villages.

✈️ Salta to Iguazu Falls (2 nights):   Take a thrilling journey into nature as you fly to Iguazu.  Here you’ll be met by 275 thunderous waterfalls, even larger than the Niagara Falls, that cascade through a lush rainforest – truly and unforgettable experience!  From the Argentine side, explore extensive walkways that bring you up close to the falls, including the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat, where you’ll feel the full force of the falls. On the Brazilian side, you can experience the magnificence of this natural phenomenon from elevated viewpoints and take a thrilling boat ride that gets you close enough to feel the spray of the falls.

✈️ Iguazu Falls to Buenos Aires (1 night) or Optional Extension to Rio/São Paulo (multiple nights): After exploring Iguazu, you can either return to Buenos Aires for a final night before your flight home or extend your adventure by flying directly from Iguazu to the Brazilian cities of Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo. Both cities offer vibrant contrasts to your Argentine experience. Rio de Janeiro, known as the ‘Marvellous City,’ offers a carnival atmosphere, stunning beaches, and breath-taking views from Corcovado and Sugarloaf mountains. Highlights include the lively Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the historic Centro, the colourful mosaic steps of Lapa, and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. São Paulo, on the other hand, offers a chic, cosmopolitan vibe, renowned for its iconic architecture, such as the historic Martinelli skyscraper and Oscar Niemeyer’s masterpiece, Edifício Copan, along with a dynamic cultural scene and electric nightlife.

✈️ Buenos Aires – UK: Your adventure now comes to it’s conclusion, so we’ll return you back to the airport and fly you back to the UK.
