✈️ UK to Colombo (1 night): On arrival in Colombo, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from your private driver, who will transport you between destinations throughout your adventure, and provide you with the freedom to visit as many sites and attractions as you wish during your journey throughout Sri Lanka. After you’ve checked into your hotel, you’ll immediately sense the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka’s capital city. Take a leisurely stroll along Galle Face Green, visit the bustling Pettah Market, and explore the colonial architecture of the Fort area. Then enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the city’s restaurants, sampling some delicious Sri Lankan cuisine before retiring for the night.
🚗 Colombo to Dambulla / Sigiriya (3 nights): Your driver will escort you to Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle to visit the incredible UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Dambulla and Sigiriya. Dambulla is home to the Dambulla Cave Temple complex that features five caves adorned with stunning murals and over 150 carved Buddha statues. The Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as ‘Lion’s Rock’, is renowned for its remarkable architecture built on top of a huge rock formation and features stunning frescoes, a network of gardens and moats, and a wonderful view from the summit. Your driver will also be on hand to take you to other sights in the area.
🚗 Dambulla / Sigiriya to Kandy (2 nights): Staying in the Cultural Triangle, the next stop on your itinerary will see you head to the sacred city of Kandy, home to the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic. This Buddhist temple is widely believed to house a tooth that is believed to have belonged to Lord Buddha. Also explore the nearby Royal Botanical Gardens and take a leisurely stroll around the stunning Kandy Lake, situated next to the temple complex in Kandy.
/ Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (1 night): For your journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, your driver can either whisk you away on a direct door-to-door journey, or you can take the popular and magnificently scenic train ride from Kandy to Ella. Upon arrival in Ella station, your driver will be waiting to collect you for the final leg of your journey to the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya. Also known as ‘Little England’, Nuwara Eliya is in the heart of the country’s tea-producing region. The landscapes here are simply stunning, with rolling hills filled with tea plantations. Visit a tea factory to witness the art of tea-making and sample the various blends of tea – or take in a high tea experience complete with sweet treats.
🚗 Nuwara Eliya to Yala (1 night): Prepare for some thrilling wildlife spotting as you head to your next stop, Yala, home to Yala National Park. Here you can embark on an exciting safari through the park to encounter elephants, leopards, and a myriad of bird species – including some truly stunning landscapes ranging from open plains to dense forests, to rocky outcrops and coastal areas.
🚗 Yala to Udawalawe (1 night): You’ll continue your wildlife exploration as you head to Udawalawe National Park where you can embark on another exhilarating safari, crossing through the park’s vast grasslands and reservoirs. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, water buffalo, and other fascinating creatures. The park’s open plains offer excellent visibility for wildlife viewing, particularly the herds of Asian elephants that roam freely.
🚗 Udawalawe to Beach Resort (5 nights): You’ll conclude your Sri Lankan adventure with a relaxing retreat at a beach resort of your choice. Whether you prefer the vibrant atmosphere of Mirissa or the tranquil shores of Tangalle, Sri Lanka offers a range of beach resorts to suit every preference. Whichever beach resort you choose, you’ll be guaranteed pristine sands, turquoise waters, and wonderfully fresh seafood – the perfect way to end your holiday.
✈️ Beach to UK: After two weeks of exploring the wonders of Sri Lanka, you’ll head back on your return flight home to the UK.

eShores managed our holiday to Skopelos and Skiathos in June 2024. The arrangements went to plan with clear communications from the eShores team. When my wife injured her knee whilst we were on holiday, and we needed to change the return transfer arrangements it was easy to contact eShores, and they made the necessary changes. We have just booked a similar holiday in 2025 with eShores.

Dave Felton smashed it again. I've booked previously with Dave and can't see past him. His customer service and knowledge of the world is mighty impressive. I've passed his name on to others who have booked with him who also sing his praises. I've booked my holiday for 2025 and will continue to use Dave with confidence going forward.

No flexibility in what customer is looking for and will not price match with what is on offer. Limited service and need to be fair in choices
