Description

Location: The Lodge is positioned in the south of the idyllic island of Nosy Komba, which is off the North West Madagascan coast. To get here, you need to take a 1 ½ hours flight from the country’s capital city of Antananarivo followed by a 25 minute speed boat transfer. The island is pleasingly mostly untouched by tourism, with no cars allowed on the island.

Facilities: Nature lovers will enjoy exploring the fascinating island of Nosy Komba which is home to a vast array of plant life and flowers and intriguing wildlife including black lemurs and chameleons. The Lodge also organises several trips available to local sights including the Baie des Russes, Kisimany and Mamoko. Scuba diving and snorkelling can be enjoyed just minutes from the hotel and there are many types of fishing trips available locally. You can also enjoy a game of giant solitaire at the Lodge with each piece made from semi-precious stones.

Restaurants & Bars: The Lodge’s restaurant serves first class cuisine with ingredients largely sourced from its own organic kitchen garden and direct from the fishermen’s boat. For a relaxing drink overlooking the ocean, you will find a main bar with 4 terraces that serve a range of cocktails, spirits and hot drinks.

Accommodation: All 8 spacious bungalows are located just steps from the beach and have four poster beds, traditional décor and a beautiful private terrace overlooking the ocean.
