Location: Lux Belle Mare (formally Beau Rivage) is around 1 hour from the airport, this large resort over looks the magnificent Indian Ocean on Mauritius east coast at belle mare
Description: This resort is run by the same luxury company as LUX Grand Gaube, Tamassa and Merville beach. The Lux Belle Mare has a large spa with 11 treatment rooms; the large freeform pool is falls over three tiers perfect to cool off in the mid day sun, the hotel offers direct access to the immaculate beach where you can take part in some watersports or simply relax on the beach. The hotel has four restaurants and two bars which offers premium many types of cuisine and premium brand drinks.
Accommodation: 174 rooms and suites. The junior suites sleep upto 2 adults and 2 children and have many modern amenities, and have a balcony with sea views. The lagoon suites have whirlpools. There is also the option to upgrade to an ocean villa which has a private pool, lounge dining room and kitchens, ideal for those wanting privacy.
There is also the option to upgrade to all inclusive which includes meals ranging from a la carte and snacks, the Lux Belle Mare provides premium brand alcohol, wines and 24 hour room service. The package also offers extras such as watersports, an excursion and one massage per stay.
Our Opinion: The resort is a wonderful property which offers an excellant all inclusive programme with an array of restaurants. The beach around Lux Belle Mare is one of the best in Mauritius with untouched white sands and crystal clear waters.
